Where did it all start?

Our company began with a love for the sea and all things water sports - from surfing to sailing and everything in between. We knew people loved being in the water, and we also knew people hated getting back in their car in their wetsuits or damp clothes.

That is where the inspiration for waterproof seat covers came from. We wanted to offer a simple but effective solution that not only kept seats dry, but looked good at the same time. That was back in 1986 and our core aim of protecting your vehicles hasn't changed since then.

Our business quickly grew beyond just water sports as people outside of the industry saw the value in heavy-duty seat covers. We welcomed builders, pet owners, mechanics, and parents as customers as they all realised how effective our seat covers were at giving extra life to their vehicles. No day is too tough for a Town & Country Cover.

Over the past 30 years our focus has remained on sourcing high-quality materials to deliver exceptional products to our customers - because a seat cover is only as good as the material it's made from. Our signature polyester blend is the perfect balance of style, comfort, and toughness and is guaranteed to add years to your seats. We also brought on an in-house design team to make sure every cover fits down to the last stitch.

What are we doing now?

Whilst we started out making universal covers that fit most vehicles, we have been building a custom-fit tailored range which now includes most popular UK vans and trucks, and our in-house designers are always adding to this catalogue. We have also launched a line of accessories and rubber mats to keep your interiors covered from the ground up. This line includes steering wheel covers, seat organisers, child-seat protectors, and social-distancing screens for taxis, and we don't plan on stopping there.
